How did a 15 mile ride turn into 50? (: Seriously, which one? The older I am, the faster I was.

I want to know to. I thought 50 miles of DH would take about 3 hours max. This 50 mile ride now sounds like a hardcore XC ride with a lot of climbing lol. I'm not so down that hahah. How about just a 20-25 miles?
