'Tis the season of shuttles! Bring packed food for a possible 4 run day!
East is the xc/am trail. West has more jumps and good stuff.
Got something from the tube. Check video section.

The West side is a full-on DH trail, not that friendly for DH newbs. The jumps have go-arounds but there are 2 really steep, loose and chunky chutes that can get you if you're not used to riding that stuff.

Check the videos I posted.

The East has several options for the exit. Did you guys go down Mystic trail the last time you were there?

Hey Perfecto, thanx for d tips & warning us bout d trails especially d West side we appreciate it. Some of our group have hard core DH including myself & some of them don't have a DH bike juz an Enduro or AM & they will manage coz they've been to Mammoth & Northstar. When it comes to loose & steep terrain wer all use to that also theres lots of them in Big Bear & this group done all d crazy places u can imagine like DH stuff. Hopefully u can join us Bro.

You're better off staying in your bike and rolling it on the steeps Perf mentioned. Trust me HAB no bueno, you have not seen steep yet.

Have fun!

Hmmm after seeing JP's videos I think it would be better to have the super T instead of the 55 for a fork on GMR.

Something came up and I can't spend the whole day on the trail, have to bail at around 11:30am.

Xandei, how do you feel about hitting the West side while the others hit the East? That way, I can show you the trail and you can guide the others after I leave.
